Only the freshest and ripest berries, from Glunz Farms here in Grayslake, IL, make this perfect with anything chocolate. This is a truly decadent dessert wine. The raspberries are flash frozen within minutes of being hand picked. When we are ready to make the next batch, we defrost the berries without pressing and use up to 2 pints of berries for every half bottle. The juice is then slowly fermented and fortified with our hig-proof grape brandy to stop the fermentation leaving a soft round sweetness to this dessert wine. It is one of our top sellers and a favorite in any crowd.
